SIMONA MOLINARI
Simona Molinari nasce a Napoli, il 23 febbraio 1983, ma vive a L’Aquila. Inizia a studiare canto all’età di otto anni e a sedici comunica a specializzarsi nella musica leggera e nel jazz, studiando a Napoli, poi a Roma e partecipando a diversi stage di improvvisazione jazzistica, canto moderno e vocalità Neroamericana. Collabora, anche in ambito teatrale con artisti come Michele Placido e Caterina Vertova, lavorando anche con Giò di Tonno, nel musical “Jekyll & Hyde”. 
Nel 2008 vince SanremoLab, approdando così alla sezione “Proposte” del Festival di Sanremo, cover partecipa con il brano “Egocentrica”. Il brano anticipa un album in uscita il 20 febbraio 2009 per L’Isola degli artisti/Warner Music.
Dopo alcuni progetti dedicati a favore dei terremotati dell’Abruzzo (compreso il dvd “Amiche per l’Abruzzo”), nel 2010 esce il suo secondo album, CROCE E DELIZIA, anticipato dal singolo “Amore a prima vista” in duetto con Ornella Vanoni. L’anno successivo è la volta del terzo lavoro, TUA, a cui collabora anche il cantante italo americano Peter Cincotti per tre duetti.

- Tokyo Sinfonia Principles Quintet
L’orchestra Tokyo Sinfonia è stata lodata come “l’orchestra più interessante del Giappone”. Distinguendosi per il suo suono ricco, la sua vivace espressività ed un rapporto amichevole con il pubblico, ha riscosso grandi apprezzamenti per la sua programmazione immaginativa e per l’invitante presentazione dei suoi piacevoli eventi:
cene-concerti, conferenze-concerti, champagne concert, leadership program, community program ed eventi speciali ed unici. La Tokyo Sinfonia si è esibita presso la Oji Hall, la Chanel Nexus Hall, la Shinsei Hall, la Grande Sala dell’Ambasciata Russa, la Sala d’Oro del Tokyo Masonic Center, il Club dei Corrispondenti Esteri in Giappone ed a Nagoya, Sendai, Yokohama ed altri luoghi della nazione. Esibendosi sotto la direzione di Robert Rÿker, l’orchestra incarna il calore e l’immediatezza dell’approccio affetuoso alla musica proprio del Maestro.”

- Oka Akihiro
Baritono. Nato nella prefettura di Kagawa, Shikoku. Si è diplomato presso il Collegio Musicale Kunitachi, ed ha conseguito il master in musica vocale presso la scuola di specializzazione dell’Università delle Arti di Tokyo.
Dopo aver completato un periodo di formazione presso l’Istituto di Formazione dell’Opera del Nuovo Teatro Nazionale di Tokyo come parte della 10°selezione di giovani artisti, nel 2010 ha trascorso un periodo di studio all’estero in Italia, a Genova, grazie ad un programma di studio all’estero riservato agli artisti emergenti.
Fino ad oggi, ha interpretato numerosi ruoli tra cui: il Conte nell’opera “Le nozze di figaro”, Don Giovanni nel “Don Giovanni”, Papageno nel “il Flauto Magico”, il marchese de la Force ne “I dialoghi delle Carmelitane”, Marcello nella “La Boheme” e Ford nell’opera “Falstaff”.

- Sayuki
Il 19 Dicembre 2007, per la prima volta nei 400 anni di storia delle geisha, è stata ammessa tra loro un’occidentale, che ha debuttato assumendo il nome di Sayuki.
Sayuki ha inizialmente fatto parte della comunità di geisha di Asakusa – uno dei più antichi, tra i sei distretti delle geisha che ancora rimangono a Tokyo – vivendo in una casa per geisha (okiya) e prendendo parte a banchetti. È stata una geisha di Asakusa per quattro anni ed attualmente lavora come geisha indipendente a Tokyo.
Specializzata in antropologia sociale con un Master in Business Administration conseguito all’università di Oxford, è diventata una geisha inizialmente con l’idea di condurre ricerche antropologiche sul campo, ma alla fine del primo anno ha ricevuto il permesso di continuare il proprio addestramento in diverse arti, incluse lo shamisen ed il canto, e si è specializzata nello yokubue (flauto giapponese).
Ha pubblicato diversi libri ed ha preso parte a programmi televisivi della BBC, NHK, National Geographic Channel ed altri.
- Atsushi Sakata a.k.a. Tokyo Ghetto Shamisen
Atsushi Sakata è un musicista folk contemporaneo con un punto di vista e filosofia peculiari. Quando suona lo Shamisen (strumento musicale tipico giapponese), musica, corpo e universo si fondono insieme. Grazie all’esperienza di numerose performance in svariate parti del mondo, ha visitato molti luoghi, traendo ulteriore ispirazione dalle strade, dalla natura, dalla vita di tutti i giorni. Inoltre, arricchito dall’esperienza di aver suonato in templi e santuari, vuole comunicarci attraverso l’espressione del suo spirito, la saggezza tramandataci dal passato. Nelle sue performance dal vivo ci comunica la sua visione unica del mondo, e il suo sound, arricchito dalla collaborazione con numerosi artisti, spazia attraverso tutti i generi musicali. Dal 2012 svolge la sua attività a Kyoto.

イタリア人ジャズ・シンガー シモーナ・モリナーリのコンサート
シモーナ・モリナーリは1983年2月23日にナポリに生まれ、アクイラで育つ。8歳で歌曲の勉強を始め、16歳で軽音楽とジャズをナポリで勉強する。その後、ローマで即興ジャズを始めとして、モダンだがブラック・ミュージック風のヴォイスを駆使していくつかのステージに立つ。ミケーレ・プラチドやカテリーナ・ヴェルトーヴァといった俳優陣との劇場でのコラボレーションを始めとし、ミュージカル「ジキルとハイド」ではジョー・ディ・トンノと一緒の舞台に立つ。
2008年にはサンレモラブで優勝し、サンレモ音楽祭で「エゴチェントリカ」を歌う。これがきっかけとなり、2009年2月20日にリリースされた「イゾラ・デッリ・アルティスティ（ワーナー・ミュージック）」にこの曲が収録された。その後、アブルッツォ州を直撃したイタリア中部地震支援のためのプロジェクト（「アミーケ・ペル・アブルッツォ」のDVD等）に参加し、2010年にはセカンド・アルバム「クローチェ・エ・デリツィア」をリリース、オルネッラ・ヴァノーニとのデュエット・シングルとなる「アモーレ・ア・プリマ・ヴィスタ」をリリースした。
翌年、イタリア系アメリカ人のピーター・チンコッティとの共同制作でデュエット3曲を含むサード・アルバム「トゥア」をリリースした。

- Tokyo Sinfonia Principles Quintet
Tokyo Sinfonia Principles Quintetは、日本で一番興味深いオーケストラと言われている。魅力的な演奏と生き生きとした表現、親しみのある雰囲気、独創的な選曲は高い評価を受けており、ディナー・コンサートやコンサート講演会、シャンパン・コンサート、リーダーシップ・プログラム、コミュニティ・プログラムといった様々なイベントで演奏しているが、彼らの演奏は特別で比類の無いコンサートと言えるだろう。
彼らは、王子ホールやシャネル・ネクサス・ホール、新生ホール、ロシア大使館グレート・ホール、東京メソニックセンター、特例社団法人日本外国特派員協会、名古屋、仙台、横浜といった様々な場所で演奏している。そして、ロバート・ライカー指揮者のダイレクトで温かいアプローチを感じ取ったオーケストラの演奏は聴き応えがある。

バリトン。香川県出身。国立音楽大学音楽学部声楽科卒業。 東京芸術大学大学院声楽専攻修士課程修了。新国立劇場オペラ研修所第10期生修了。平成22年度、新進芸術家海外研修制度研修生としてイタリア、ジェノヴァに留学。これまでに『フィガロの結婚』伯爵、『ドン・ジョヴァンニ』タイトルロール、『魔笛』パパゲーノ、『カルメル修道会の対話』マルキー・ドュラフォルス、『ラ ボエーム』マルチェッロ、『ファルスタッフ』フォード等を演じる。

- SAYUKI
400年に渡る芸者の歴史の中で、初めての西洋人芸者となる彼女は、2007年12月19日にSayukiという名でデビューした。
Sayukiは東京の中で最も古い浅草の６つの芸者街にある、1つの芸者ハウス（置屋）の宴会場で初めて芸者として活動を始めた。彼女はこの浅草で約4年間芸者を務め、現在ではフリーの芸者として東京で働いている。
オックスフォード大学では文化人類学を学んでMBAも取得したが、彼女が芸者になったきっかけは、人類学実地調査が始まりで、1年後には芸者として舞踊、三味線、唄、横笛（日本式フルート）のトレーニングを続ける許可を得ていたからだった。
その後、Sayukiは数冊の本を出版し、BBCやNHK、ナショナル・ジオグラフィック・チャンネル等で働いている。

Simona Molinari, born in Naples on February 23rd, 1983, lives in L’Aquila (Abruzzo). She begins to take singing classes at 8, at 16 she decides to specialize in pop music and jazz – first in Naples, then in Rome, through the participation to several jazz, modern and black American singing sessions. In the same years she also works together with distinguished artists such as Michele Placido and Caterina Vertova on theatrical performances, and with Giò di Tonno in the musical play “Jekyll & Hide”.
In 2008 Molinari is a winner of SanremoLab, thus earning access to the following Sanremo Music Festival in the “new proposals” division, where she debuts with the piece “Egocentrica” (“Egocentric”). The song precedes the publication of a full album by L’Isola degli Artisti (Warner Music) on February 20th, 2009.
After joining several projects in support of the victims of the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake – including the successful concert/DVD “Amiche per l’Abruzzo”, Molinari publishes her second Album, “Croce e Delizia” (“A mixed blessing”), forerun by the single “Amore a prima vista” (“Love at first sight”), a duet with Ornella Vanoni. In the following year, “Tua” (“yours”), Molinari’s third work, appears. The album also features three duets with the Italian-American singer Peter Cincotti.

Baritone. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music and earned a Master in vocal music at the Graduate School of Tokyo University of the Arts.
After completing the Young Artist Trainee Program at the Opera Traning Institue of the New National Theatre – Tokyo, as a trainee of the 10th selection, in 2010 he studied in Genoa, Italy, as a trainee of the Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists.
Up to now, he has performed various roles like: the Count in “The Marriage of Fugaro”; Don Giovanni in “Don Giovanni”, Papageno in “The Magic Flute”, marquise de la Force in “Dialogues of the Carmelites”, Marcello in “La Boheme” and Ford in “Falstaff”.

For the first time in the 400-year history of the geisha, a Westerner was accepted, and she made her debut as a geisha under the name Sayuki on December 19, 2007.
Sayuki first joined the geisha community in Asakusa – one of the oldest of Tokyo’s six remaining geisha districts, living in a geisha house (okiya), and participating in banquets. She was an Asakusa geisha for nearly four years, and she currently works as an independent geisha in Tokyo.
Specialized in social anthropology with an MBA from Oxford University she became a geisha initially with anthropological fieldwork in mind, but at the end of her first year, she received permission to continue as a geisha training in several arts, including shamisen and singing, and specializes in yokobue (Japanese flute).
She has published several books and has worked on programmes for BBC, NHK, National Geographic Channel and others.

Atsushi Sakata is a contemporary folk musician with a distinctive point of view and philosophy. When he’s playing the Shamisen (Japanese traditional musical instrument), music, body and universe come together. Thanks to the experience of many performances in various parts of the world, he has been visiting many places, drawing further inspiration from the streets, from nature, from the everyday lifestyle. In addition, enriched by the experience of having played in temples and shrines, he wants to communicate through the expression of his spirit the wisdom handed down to us from the past. In his live performances he shows us his unique vision of the world, and his sound, enriched by the collaboration with many artists, spans the whole gamut of music genres. Since this year he is carrying on his activities in Kyoto.
